Christmas Eve Eve
At Crossroads, we know that Christmas is a season when many in our community are on the move—traveling to see family, welcoming relatives into town, or preparing to be away for the holiday itself. That’s exactly why we celebrate Christmas Eve Eve. Before everyone scatters in different directions, we carve out this sacred moment to gather as a church family. It’s our opportunity to be together, to celebrate Christ’s coming, and to share the warmth of community before the holiday journeys begin.
A Service Full of Kids, Candlelight, and Communion
Our Christmas Eve Eve service is one of the most joy-filled gatherings of the year. Children help lead us in worship with songs that warm the heart and remind us what the season is all about. Candlelight fills the sanctuary as we reflect on Christ—the Light who shines in every kind of darkness. And we gather at the table for communion, giving thanks for God’s love made visible in Jesus.
This is a service where wiggles, wonder, and wide-eyed excitement are all welcome. It’s a time where generations gather side by side, celebrating the miracle of God with us.
A Celebration of Family—Origin, Choice, and Church
Christmas is a time that stirs up our deepest connections. At Crossroads, we honor all the ways people belong:
the families we were born into,
the families we have chosen, and
the family we build together as a church.
Christmas Eve Eve is a moment to recognize and celebrate that love is what makes a family—and there is always room for more at the table.
Bring Your People—All of Them
Because many in our community travel on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, Christmas Eve Eve has become a beloved opportunity to worship together before everyone scatters. It’s also the perfect service to invite:
visiting relatives,
neighbors,
friends,
or anyone who could use a reminder that they’re not alone during the holidays.
Whether this is your first Christmas with us or your fifteenth, we can’t wait to welcome you.
